Useful information for gentlemen tourists, hunters and dog lovers who come to hunt or train with us.
BY SEA
1) To get to Croatia both by sea and by land for hunters who carry rifles serves the EUROPEAN WEAPON CARD with the data of the weapon being carried on, you can also carry more guns, naturally included in the European card. the passport is certainly good with the European card but I am not sure that the identity card will be OK.
If you enter as a tourist, an ID card is sufficient.
2) The hunter or dog lover with dogs, must travel with the European passport-book of the subjects transported with the anti-rabies made at least 2 months.
3) When you exit the port to arrive at the VILLA VELEBITA Guesthouse follow the signs to the south green tables Zagreb-Split highway you will take the highway that arrives at the highway exit for Zagreb-Split on this highway before arriving at the tollgate you find the exit Tromilja – Zemunik, take this exit and then keep right towards Zemunik Gornj pass 2 km away Zemunik Gornj and the first house on the right is the VILLA VELEBITA.
OVERLAND
To arrive by land, follow the directions below: After the Trieste barrier on the freeway to Trieste center you will find the exit for Basovizza – Pesek and keep to Rijeka, at Pasjak on the Slovenia-Croatia border you will normally find a police district in the Slovene Gabina an identity document will be requested, the goods are free transit and no longer being customs, therefore the Croatian border is practically deserted and is normally transited at reduced speed.
After the old Croatian customs, enter the highway towards Zagreb-Split, drive about 80 km after the Ogulin-Vrbosko exit, find the junction for Split, keep the Split direction and exit at Zadar 2. Zemunik- Sukosan you find the freeway go to Zadar center after 1 km find the exit Tromilja for Zemunik Gornj exit and keep right direction Zemunik Gornj pass via Zemunik Gornj and after 2 km you will find the pension on the right, (manufactured all in stone).
For hunters:
For hunters who carry shotguns, the EUROPEAN WEAPON CARD with the data of the weapon being transported is available, and more than one rifle can be transported, naturally included in the European map. the passport is certainly good with the European card but I am not sure that the identity card will be good. At the Police control the weapons must be declared.
If you enter as a tourist, an ID card is sufficient.
For the transport of dogs, the regulation of the European community is in force. A recommendation to hunters, the transported game must have proper documents.
